Campus Ministry @ UD – Going Online

From Casey:

Confronted by our current situation, I couldn’t help but think of Paul when he was in prison…in effect, quarantined.  Like us, he did not choose to be stuck in one place; unable to be with the believers and churches that he longed to commune with. He wrote this from prison: “Now I want you to know brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.”  Philippians 1:12. One of the main reasons we have Paul’s part of the New Testament is because he was in prison and forced to write letters. This is amazing – prison was not a good thing and yet God used it for good to advance the gospel in many ways.  No doubt you see where this is headed.  The virus is not a good thing but God is still using it to advance the gospel!

We are keeping up Tuesday night meetings, small group meetings, and one on one sessions using Zoom and other meeting technology. People need good news and community now more than ever!
